My Notary Source

A Mobile Notary Public and Signing Agent Community

We are placing the finishing touches on the short sale of our dream home...bummer!
Business continues to be way off, though I have tried mightily to "invent" new revenue streams...
Traffic on all the Notary-related forums has dwindled to ...well...not much
Believe it or not, I remain optimistic as our underlying economy is strong, the elections are not too far off and consumer confidence is looking for a reason to rebound...
Have we weathered the storm? You bet!
Chins up out there!
Remember what Nietzsche says!
That which does not kill us, MAKES US STRONGER!!

I see that alot of the Notary forums have dwindled down to...hardly any talk. I've been checking all the webcites databases to update any information and some of them are out of business. I've even not rejoined some of my memberships from some Notary webcites because I've gotten no business from them. I was checking some forums to see what everybody has been writing and nobody has written anything in some of them since Feb. 08 or April 08. I've been basically getting calls on and off to do personal notary's, which I'll do just in my area because its not worth it for me to travel anything over 15 miles to notarize a 1 page document.
I'm keeping my chin up and hoping their's a light at the end of the tunnel.

Hey Quicky!

I am sorry about your beautiful home. Hubby and I are getting ready to move from our dream too. I keep remembering before we moved in, he was saying, that we would probably live here the rest of our lives. The payments were a bit high, but he kept saying we'll make it work. I then lost my job with the school district (14 mos no work) and no one would hire me to do any notaries or signings (or anything for that matter). Well, I did my best friends, and my sisters, so, now I have three in my book. Just petty signings, all for $5.00. My friend wanted to pay me, so I only asked her for $5.00. For all three of hers. Now we are preparing to move into an apartment. I was just rehired with the school district, too bad it was not eight months ago. Oh well. I wish we could afford finishing touches, but we have to use what cash we do have to move. The old place needs paint, carpet repair (puppy) a/c repair or replace, gas fireplace needs new fittings (now turned completely off) replace toilet, fix leaks, All this stuff needs fixing, and we have only been here for two years! And one last thing. My Father is in the hospital, and he is not expected to make it. Oh and one more, Pup has pancreatitis. Gosh, if all this crap that is happening doesn't kill me, I will definitely be amazed! Will I be stronger, ummm, I just don't know! I know I will miss the quiet and the beatuiful golf course that we look out our windows upon, everyday.
